Things we need to remember
Named trainers needed to be left in school.
A labelled small pencil case with colouring pencils to be left in school.
Reading books needed daily in a small ruck-sack/book bag.
Within Geography, we will be learning about Greece.
In history, we will be going back in time to Ancient Greece
In Science, we will travel through space and learn about forces.
In RE, we will be learning about The Gospel and Buddhism while answering the questions...

This term in English;
We will be completing a project about the book called 'Here We Are' by Oliver Jeffers.
We will write to inform through explanations and recounts.
We will write to entertain with some Greek Myths
The children will do weekly comprehension exercises and 3X a week be tested on our whole school spelling scheme.
In accordance to the New Curriculum we will be working weekly to improve our spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Please read independently for 20 minutes a day and to an adult 3x a week. Please record reading in your diary and ask an adult to sign it.
Topic/English homework will be set on Tuesday and handed in the following Monday.
Extra class spellings will be tested and sent home on a Tuesday. An extra activity may be given based on our spellings.
Maths homework will be set on Friday and handed in the following Wednesday.
The children also need to practise a mixture of tables and related division facts to achieve a personal best time.
This term in Maths;
In number, we will learn about place value, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division.
In measure, we will learn about about Perimeter and Area.
We will also learn about Statistics.
The children will further develop their reasoning skills by applying topics taught through the term to solve problems.
