Stonham AspalChristian Values
As a Church of England Voluntary Aided School we follow the Christian ‘Values for life’ program in all that we do. This can be through acts of worship, lessons, displays or playtimes.
There are many important values, for us to follow so we have used the Bible and ‘fruits of the spirit’ to help us to prioritize our values. Our six core values are: kindness, patience, courage, wisdom, peace and respect. Each half-term we will focus in particular on one of these values, stories will be shared in assemblies, and there will also be displays around the school.

Wisdom:
At Stonham Aspal CEVA school we recognise the value of wisdom and seek to be wise in all that we do within the school. We seek the wisdom to work cooperatively and effectively with others', valuing others' opinion and being thoughtful in our actions.
Courage
Like the tree on our logo, we seek to develop our inner strength. To be courageous and resilient, even in the face of adversity. To have the courage to embrace opportunity and to challenge unfairness.
Kindness
We teach our pupils to be kind to others. To be selfless and unconditionally kind. This applies to how we work, and also play together. We learn to share and support each other regardless of race, colour, creed or faith.
Peace
We recognise the importance of the Christian value of peace. We share a desire to work in a harmonious community, and value the importance of having a calm, quiet environment to think about our learning and reflect on our personal relationship with faith.
Patience
Patience is virtue. We understand the need to be patient. As the tree on our logo took patience to bear fruit so, too, do we need to have the patience to see the fruits of our labour. We recognise the need to strive to achieve highly, whether that be learning a times table or learning a musical instrument.
Respect
We recognise that respect should always be central to how we approach others. We should recognise others' feelings, showing empathy. We should be humble and respectful in all that we do.
