Our Church School Vision
As a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School our vision is built upon the vision of ‘The Church of England’. Our vision for our education is routed in Mark 9 -23, “Everything is possible for one who believes" which is why we have chosen our school motto of, “Believe and Achieve”. Our vision is for the common good of the whole community and is therefore woven through all that we are and all that we do. Our core principles are:
Educating for wisdom, knowledge and skills: through our ‘Christian Values’ and our ‘Life and Learning Skills’ we nurture both discipline, confidence and delight in seeking wisdom and knowledge, and developing talents in all areas of life.
Educating for hope and aspiration: through our ‘Christian Values’ and our ‘Life and Learning Skills’ we enable a forgiving environment, to nurture coping wisely when things go wrong, opening horizons and guiding people into ways of fulfilling themselves to be the best that they can be.
Educating for community and living well together: through our ‘Christian Values’ and our ‘Life and Learning Skills’ we nurture respectful relationships, being inclusive and develop qualities of character that enable people to flourish together. ‘Love God; Love your neighbour’.
Educating for dignity and respect: through our ‘Christian Values’ and our ‘Life and Learning Skills’ we nurture respect for the value and preciousness of each person, treating each person as a unique individual of inherent worth.
