Believe and Achieve
"Everything is possible for one who believes"
Welcome to Stonham Aspal CEVA Primary School's website. I hope that you find all the information you need, if not, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Stonham Aspal is a good school, which is as a result of all the hard work and dedication of all who are, or have been, part of Stonham Aspal CEVAP School.
Our most recent OFSTED inspection, on Wednesday, 19th & Thursday, 20th April 2023 confirmed that we continue to be a good school. Below are quotes from our report. If you wish to read the whole report you can either follow the link from our website on our 'Reports' page or go directly to the OFSTED website.
"Pupils behave well in class and around the school".
"Pupils feel safe. They understand that bullying is wrong and say it is very rare. They are confident that adults will sort out any disagreements, should they occur".
"Leaders are quick to identify any pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). They ensure that appropriate plans are in place to support these pupils".
"Parents shared many positive comments about the school. One who spoke for many commented that ‘Stonham Aspal is a lovely school. My children are happy and making good progress. The school is responsive when concerns are raised.’
"Leaders and governors have ensured that there are robust systems in place to check that pupils are safe. All staff have received appropriate training. They record concerns, however minor, and leaders follow these up in a timely manner".
"Governors are skilled and knowledgeable about the school. This enables them to support school development and improvement effectively".
Our Church Inspection, March 2024, judged our school to be living up to its foundations as a Church school. Below are quotes from our report. if you wish to read the whole report you can download it here.
''Leaders know their community well and consequently have developed a Christian vision that is relevant and meets their specific needs. It is lived out through well embedded values so that pupils and adults thrive.''
''The breadth of the full curriculum, including extracurricular activities that are offered, presents pupils with the opportunity to discover their strengths''
''Religious education (RE) is well led, ensuring a comprehensive approach to planning and assessment. This ensures that pupils are challenged effectively in their learning and it supports their progress.''
I am extremely proud of all that we have achieved and am looking forward to our school going from strength to strength.
My aim is to ensure that our school is a vibrant place to learn, with a strong team of staff, full of happy and engaged children achieving excellent results.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school. If you are thinking of visiting us, I would be delighted to show you around. Please get in touch using the information on the 'Contact us' button on the home page.
